Llwynhelig House

Llwynhelig House is a unique country residence situated on the edge of Cowbridge town centre, with origins dating back to the 14th century, though currently, greater parts of the present property are neo-Georgian and early Victorian in character.

The wisteria laden elevation to the front of Llywnhelig House is accessed via wrought iron, electric, double gates to an open forecourt with a Georgian dual pillared porch through into sizeable reception rooms, and a beautifully restored formal dining room. There are a further five reception rooms, as well as modern oak, handmade kitchen with a variety of high specification features. To the first floor, accessed by two staircases are six bedrooms, with three suites, to the master suite is a sizeable dressing room, with a further two bathrooms to create 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms to this floor.

The gardens span to 3.8 acres and are mainly to rear and East of the main residence. Within the grounds is an impressive heated swimming pool and pool house.

The location couldn't be more convenient with all of the market town of Cowbridge's facilities within short walking distance. Cowbridge is a delightful market town situated in the heart of the rural Vale of Glamorgan with the heritage coastline just a few miles to the South. The good local road network brings major centres including the Capital City of Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bridgend, etc. all within comfortable commuting distance. There are main line railway stations at Bridgend and Cardiff and Cardiff Wales airport is just a short drive away.
